There is no perfection in yoga… only truth in what’s right and perfect for each student… My yoga journey began in unsatisfying fits and starts in 2001, but when I discovered power yoga, the journey became fun, fulfilling and freeing. I felt like I had come home. To me, yoga is a respite from a world that can too easily disconnect us from ourselves and distract us from the truly important things in life. It has become my path to better physical health, peace of mind and better living. These are the benefits I strive to cultivate with all my students. My classes offer a place, space and time for students to peel away life’s distractions and connect (or re-connect, as the case may be!) with their body, breath and mind. Classes are always varied and offer lots of options and challenges, so all students will find something to suit them, regardless of their previous yoga experience. Most importantly, students will be challenged to have fun while challenging themselves to become stronger, more flexible and more at peace.
I have been teaching yoga since 2007. I am a graduate of Mountain Goat’s Power Yoga Teacher Training program and a certified group fitness instructor. I very much look forward to accompanying you on your yoga journey!
