Deanne0  I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I’ve written for myself, and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part.  ~Shirley MacLaine It is important to me to encourage my students to enjoy being themselves and for no one to feel out of place in my Power Yoga class.  I enjoy a light hearted approach to Yoga while challenging the body’s limitations.  I believe in balancing the body with lots of strengthening postures and finishing with flexibility.  Keeping the body strong and flexible.      

I have been doing Yoga for over 4 years and recently graduated from Mountain Goat’s 2009 teacher training.  I have been a personal trainer for a year and know the benefits of strengthening and stretching muscles.  My goal for every class I teach is to bring harmony, balance, and a peace to student’s mind and body by using challenging poses for strengthening and stretching. I believe the only way to grow is to play.
