Yoga for Beginners (Feb04)

Join in this introductory workshop to learn about the basics of a Yoga practice to prepare for your first class.
LEARN: basic postures, class structure, yoga styles, modifications, using props, breathing, relaxation.
Choose from one of following:
- CANCELLED — Intro to HATHA YOGA, Saturday January 07, Kanata location
- CANCELLED — Intro to POWER YOGA, Saturday January 14, Kanata location
- Intro to HATHA YOGA, Saturday February 04, Kanata location, noon to 2pm
- Intro to POWER YOGA, Saturday February 18, Kanata location, 11am to 1pm
- Cost: $25 sign-up online pre-registration required
We will do a light yoga practice - wear comfortable clothing. Yoga is done in bare feet. Bring your yoga mat or one will be provided.
Classes are lead by Tara Vicckies, RYT. Tara has been practicing yoga for over 16 years, and teaching for more than 10 years. She enjoys the benefits of regular yoga practice.
Pre- registration required at least one week in advance. A minimum # of registrations is required to run workshops.
